Tech@State: Real Time Awareness

3-4 February 2012
Media and Public Affairs Building, George Washington University
Official Site

Tech@State is a great series of ongoing events put together by the State Department to encourage innovation at State and connect people around specific technology areas. We run the unconference on day 2 of the event, enabling the participants to take what they learned from the host of fabulous speakers and apply it to their interests, concerns, and problems.

Is the future of good decision-making based in open source intelligence? How do traditional bureaucracies parse the immense volume of knowledge to know as much about what’s going on on the ground as the average Twitter user? Come on down and find out!

Visit the Official Site link above, join the Tech@State community and see what was discussed!
