Tech@State is a great series of ongoing events put together by the State Department to encourage innovation at State and connect people around specific technology areas. We run the unconference on day 2 of the event, enabling the participants to take what they learned from the host of fabulous speakers and apply it to their interests, concerns, and problems.

Bringing together a diverse group of experts in serious games to discuss how to leverage the current runaway trend of gaming for good, this event provided some excellent case studies along with direct access to some really interesting people doing some really interesting things while actually making a difference in the world.
